I am a happy girl!

I talked to Zach for almost an hour last night!!!!!!!!!!! We were waiting to eat at the German restaurant in Huntsville with Troy and Amanda (Karmen, Matt, and Ava and me went to visit them yesterday) and I looked at my phone and I had a missed call from Zach like a minute before I looked so I quickly called him back!

He graduates a week from this Thursday! I will be going down a week from this Tuesday. We are leaving after work and spending the night so we can be there for Family Day on Wednesday!

Zach said that they were going to be able to watch the Super Bowl today... maybe they will let them use the phones again today!!! I hope! I miss him so much!

Anyways, I am just relaxing at the house this afternoon! I hope everyone has a great day and a great week!!!

13 days...

In 13 days I will get to see my wonderfully huggy hubby!!! I can't wait!

I got a LONG letter from him yesterday and it made me so incredibly happy! I have been asking him what clothes he wanted me to bring him because he can take some civilian clothes to AIT and he finally wrote back what he wanted me to bring... He doesn't care what clothes I bring, the only thing he has requested is his Zune (like an iPod but made by Microsoft) with the song Chicken Fried on it! I have him the Zac Brown Band CD which has that song on it... I may buy him a little iPod since I have already paid for the song to put on my iPhone... So it is in my iTunes, I will probably do that so I don't have to pay for it through Zune too...

I am absolutely loving my new job! It will take some time to learn everything but I am confident that I can handle it!

Just keep praying for Zach and I because this has been a difficult time for both of us... It is so hard to be away from your spouse... I haven't heard his voice in almost 3 weeks...

Also, I have an unspoken prayer request... as soon as I know all of the details I will fill you in! Thanks!

Great News!

I got a letter today and Zach passed his last PT test... he HAD to pass this PT test to graduate!!!

Tomorrow is Zach's last day of training at Fort Benning. Everything from tomorrow until February 11 is graduation preparation... can you believe that it is only 19 days until I can see my wonderful husband again???

I have been kind of down since Zach went back to Fort Benning because I miss him so much! It is hard to be away from the one person you love more than anything in the world for so long! I am hoping and praying that he can call home on Sunday...

On to my recent prayer request... I have a new job... well it is still with the same company just a new position! I will be taking over some work from one of our girls who will be taking over some work from another girl. I will still be the assistant manager's assistant and I will still be handling IRA information (hopefully ALL IRA stuff) and a few things that I have always done. But no more answering the phones and no more being receptionist!!! PRAISE GOD!!! This is a HUGE answer to prayer... I can not begin to tell you how excited I am! The only thing is I wish Zach was here to celebrate my accomplishment! He knows how bad I have wanted a new position and now I have it and he doesn't even know yet. I have written him about it but I just really found out at the end of last week and he probably will get that letter at the beginning of next week... It stinks not being able to communicate with him regularly. Once he gets to Fort Gordon it will hopefully be better because he will have access to his cell phone all the time and I can go visit him too!!!

I am an addict... I admit it.

Only 21 more days until I can see my soldier! I can't wait. I have missed him SO much!!!

Keep me in your prayers please. I can't go into a lot of details yet but it is dealing with my job... Just pray that everything works out like it is supposed to. And as soon as everything is set in place I will post all about it!

23 more long days to go until I can see my husband again...

Unfortunately he didn't get to call last night. I was so disappointed, but I have come to understand that is just how the Army works.

I don't think I have mentioned this but the Army sent me a certificate and a letter thanking me for my support of Zach. It is a really nice certificate and letter. I also got a pin that says Spouse and it has the U.S. Army symbol on it! I wear it proudly because I am proud of my soldier!

I went to dinner Friday night with Zach's mom and dad and their daughter and her husband and their son and his girlfriend and her family. It was so nice to meet them and to be in a big group of people and talk... it was a blast!

I ordered myself a new cell phone but I didn't like it so I sent it back... Just for the record AT&T has a crappy return program. They give you a label to send the phone back via the United States Postal Service. I have nothing against the USPS but to send a cell phone back via them is just crazy to me especially since they SENT the phone to me via UPS! Anyways, I will spare you my soapbox on that...

In exciting news, it snowed here today... not alot just enough to be pretty. It didn't stick at all though!

Zach's mom and dad have booked our cabin at the Uchee Creek Campground at Fort Benning for Family Day and Graduation. I can not wait to see Zach graduate... I am so incredibly proud of him, he is an amazing man and I am so happy that he is mine...

Keep Zach's sister, Erika, in your prayers she found out Friday that she has gestational diabetes. They are going to try a diet first and if that doesn't work then she will start on the medication...

Edit: Everyone should watch LOST on Wednesday night... I am a HUGE LOST fan and I can't wait for it to start back!

Lack o' posting...

All I can say is sorry! I have been trying to get back in the groove of being on my own again... I was able to talk to Zach last Sunday night and I have received some letters from him too. I am praying that he can call home tomorrow night...

In the letter that I got yesterday he said that a week from today is their last day of official training from then until February 12 is graduation preparation... So he is SO close to being finished!

I am so incredibly proud of him! Not too much longer and I can give him hugs and kisses again!!! I miss him like crazy!

The best Christmas EVER!

Sorry for the lack of posting over the last two weeks. I had a very special visitor that I was spending time with...

Our Christmas and New Year's was fabulous! We had so much fun spending time with family and friends!

I am only going to go into detail about one gift, the best gift ever... It was my present from Zach of course! It is a heart shaped locket and it says I love you on the out side and then on the inside it has two places for pictures. On one side is a picture of my huggy hubby and on the other side is a piece of paper that says I love you to pieces. Z

We always tell each other "I love you to pieces"! I gave him one requirement for my gift, it had to be thoughful! He did a FANTASTIC job!

We took him back to Fort Benning yesterday for the last 5 weeks of basic training. Now I am on the countdown until graduation! 35 days!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of posting. I have been spending time with Zach since he got home on Friday.

Unfortunately he is sick right now... he has some sort of virus... he went to the doctor yesterday and she gave him a shot and a prescription.
